Sharing Bandwidth
Sharing your bandwidth is the core activity in the Sunflower ecosystem. By contributing your unused internet bandwidth, you help enhance the network's overall capacity and reliability while earning rewards.
Steps to Share Bandwidth:
Open the Sunflower Client:
Ensure your Sunflower client is running and logged in.
Configure Bandwidth Settings:
Navigate to the “Settings” tab.
Set the maximum upload and download speeds you are willing to share.
Specify the times you want your node to be active (e.g., 24/7 or specific hours).
Enable Bandwidth Sharing:
Toggle the “Share Bandwidth” option to activate sharing.
The client will begin routing your allocated bandwidth to the network.
Monitor Sharing Activity:
Use the “Dashboard” to track real-time bandwidth usage.
Adjust settings as needed to optimize performance and rewards.
