Setting up a Node
Download and Install the Client:
Ensure you have downloaded and installed the latest Sunflower client as per the Installation Guide.
Launch the Client and Log In:
Open the Sunflower client and log in with your account credentials.
Configure Your Node:
Bandwidth Allocation:
Navigate to the “Settings” tab.
Set the maximum bandwidth you are willing to share (e.g., 10 Mbps upload, 20 Mbps download).
Operating Hours:
Choose the times you want your node to be active (e.g., always on or specific hours).
Auto-Adjust Settings:
Enable automatic bandwidth adjustment based on network conditions if desired.
Start Your Node:
Click on the “Start Node” button to activate your bandwidth contribution.
The client will begin sharing your allocated bandwidth with the network.
Monitor Node Performance:
Use the “Dashboard” to monitor your node’s performance, including uptime, bandwidth usage, and earnings.
